Jasper N. Peterson, a son of John P. and Nancy (Alkire) Peterson,

was born December 13, 1839 and died April 15, 1903. He married Martha O.

Waggoner in Lewis County VA December 19, 1860. Martha, a daughter of

Jacob and Catherine (Bennett) Waggoner, was born in Lewis County

February 17, 1838 anbd died March 1, 1914.

Jasper served the Union in the Civil War as a Captain in Co D, 15th

W.Va. Volunteer Infantry.

Children of Jasper N. and Martha O. (Waggoner) Peterson.
