2.BENJAMIN S. ROBERTSON    1.JAMES ROBERTSON

 

    Benjamin S. Robertson, a son of James and Mary Robertson, was born

in NC about 1827 and died at Gettysburg, PA in July 1863 of wounds

suffered in the Civil War battle of Gettysburg.

    He married Malinda Mary Bowles in Henry County VA April 22, 1856. 

Mary was a daughter of Alexander and Catherine (Goode) Bowles. 

Benjamin served the Confederacy in the Civil WAr in the 57th VA

Infantry.

    After the Civil War, Mary Malinda (Bowles) Robertson married James

Walton and they moved to Lincoln County WV.

    Benjamin Franklin Robertson, a son of Benjamin S. and Mary Malinda

(Bowles) Robertson, was born in Henry County VA in 1859 and died in

Kanawha County WV in 1940.  His spouse is unknown.

    William Calvin Robertson, a son of Benjamin Franklin Robertson,

was born in 1877 and died in 1956.  He married Ethel May Ramsey. 

Ethel, a daughter of William Allen and Bertha Almira (Mobely) Ramsey,

was born in 1901 and died in 1979.
