William W. Ryan, a son of William and Elizabeth (Damron) Ryan, was

born in Va in 1803. He married Sarah Hundley in 1825. Sarah was a

daughter of Nehemiah and Mildred (Martin) Hundley of Albemarle County

VA.

William and his brother Page moved from Nelson County VA to

Fayette County VA (WV) in 1829.

William and Sarah are buried in the Morton Cemetery at Lizemores,

Clay County WV.

Thomas Perry Ryan, a son of William W. and Sarah (Hundley) Ryan,

was born in Fayette County Va (WV) December 23, 1833 and was murdered

in Roane County WV October 13, 1887. He married Adaline Harper July

29, 1857. Adaline, a daughter of John A. and Rachel (Taylor) Harper,

was born in present day Roane County WV in 1835.

Elizabeth R. (Lowry) Looney, was born September 5, 1868 and died in

1959.

a daughter of John Edward and Mary Catherine (Young) Hunt, was born

May 17, 1888 and died in Albuquerque, NM August 4, 1981.

Lakin F. Ryan, a son of John Fancis and Tressie (Ellis) Ryan, was born inb Roane County WV October 2, 1921 and died there April 4, 2013. He married Doreen Alderman, who preceded him in death.

He was an US Army veteran of World War II and a retired carpenter and farmer. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Local 1159, Pt. Pleasant, WV and a member of the Southern States Co-Op, Spencer and the Roane County Farm Bureau.
