Pierson December 2, 1886. Martha, a daughter of Burton Carradine and

Elizabeth Susan (Hamrick) Pierson, was born in VA March 30, 1859.

    Homer Shawver a son of James W. and Martha J. (Pierson) Shawver, was

born in July 1880. He married Rosa Gail Jarvis July 22, 1905. Rosa, a

daughter of William Harrison and Nancy Jane (Hensley) Jarvis, was born

January 21, 1879 and died May 26, 1914.

3.JAMES SPURGEON SHAWVER    1.JAMES E. SHAWVER

 

    James Spurgeon Shawver, a son of James Edward and Martha Jane

(Pierson) Shawver, was born in Calhoun County September 6, 1882 and

died in Washington County OH June 5, 1969. He married Erra Jessie Jarvis

in Calhoun County WV June 8, 1902. Jessie, a daughter of Samuel King and

Ida V. (Cooper) Jarvis, was born in Calhoun County WV August 25, 1882

and died in Washington County OH in 1944.

      Blanche Shawver, a daughter of James Spurgeon and Erra Jessie (Jarvis) Shawver, was born in Clay County WV January 31, 1909 and died in Springfield, OH August 11, 2005. She married Harry W. Ollom, who preceded her in death.
