2.JOHN HENDERSON SHUMAN 1.HENRY SHUMAN

John Henderson Shuman, a son of Henry and Mary (bush) Shuman, was

born in Tyler County WV February 7, 1879 and died in Gilmer County WV

April 7, 1980. He married Ora Dell Simms in 1906. Ora, a daughter of

Eli S. and Ardleia (Wyant) Simns, was born in Lewis County WV December

24, 1890 and died February 7, 1971.

John and Ora moved to Gilmer county WV about 1921. John operated two

boats the "Ora D." and the "Ruby" on the Little Kanawha River.

Shuman, was born June 5, 1910 and died in WV April 11, 2001. He married

Hallie Cox. Hallie was born Novebmer 5, 1910 and died April 27, 1984.

William served in the US Army in World War II.
