Wilbur Spencer "Bill" Stockwell, a son of John and Sarah Ellen (Truman) Stockwell, was born in Braxton County WV April 2, 1898. He married Esta Hively. Esta died and Bill married Rosalie Martha Stow at Akron, Ohio. Rosalie, a daughter of Harry R. and Martha (Gibbon) Stow, was born in Salem County NJ Marvh 25, 1913 and died in Calhoun County WV February 11, 2007.

The couple moved from Akron to Clay County WV in March 1931.

Maycel married James P. Wilson in 1938. James died in August 1939.

Maycel married Darrel Waldo Selburg in Baltimore, MD about 1945.
