Jeriah Swiger, a son of Christopher and Eleanor (Bachus)

Swiger, was born in Harrison County VA (WV) May 5, 1819 and died

in Doddridge County WV in 1882. He married Lucinda Haney.

Lucinda, a daughter of Patrick Haney, was born in Marion County

VA (WV).

Patrick E. Swiger, a son of Jeriah and Lucinda (Haney)

Swiger, was born August 12, 1837. He served the Union in the

Civil War, enlisting August 6, 1862.

He married Emeline Robey April 30, 1863. Emeline was a

daughter of Jeremiah and Charlotte Robey.

Known children of Patrick E. and Emeline (Robey) Swiger.

Commodore Sherman Swiger, a son of Patrick E. and Emeline

(Robey) Swiger, was born October 24, 1865. He married Martha

Ashcraft July 7, 1889. Martha was a daughter of George Ashcraft.

Known children of Commodore Sherman and Martha (Ashcraft) Swiger.

Asa Lee Swiger, a son of Commodore Sherman and Martha

(Ashcraft) Swiger, was born March 18, 1895 and was living in

1989. He served in World War I. He married Evangeline "Eva"

(Hardman) Miller. Eva, a daughter of Jerome and Amie

Silcott (Stump) Hardman, was born in Calhoun County WV. She

first married Harry Miller.

Children of Harry and Evangeline (Hardman) Miller.
