Thomas Thorn was born in 1794 and died in 1884. His parentage is

in some doubt. One source lists him as a son of Joseph Jr. and

Dravideena (Taylor) Thorn, while a second source says that he is a son

of Thomas and Rebecca (Stewart) Thorn. Thomas married Mary Jones.

Mary, a daughter of John and Nancy (Goff) Jones was born in 1797 and

died in Roane County WV in 1886. The family moved to Roane County VA

(WV).
