1.HENRY TINGLER

Henry Tingler was born in Harrison County VA (WV) about 1801

and died in Ritchie County WV after 1865. He married Mary Ann

Phryne in Harrison county in 1819. The family moved to Ritchie

County VA (WV) after 1836.

Mary died after 1860 and Henry married Jane Campbell in

Ritchie County in 1865.

Tingler, was born in Harrison County VA (WV) in 1837 and died in

Ritchie County VA (WV) in 1925. He married Mahala Schoolcraft.

Mahala, a daughter of Aaron and Sarah (Collins) [Stallman]

Schoolcraft, was born in Va about 1833.

Granville served the Union in the Civil War in Co c 11th

W.Va. Volunteer Infantry.

Children of Granville and Mahala (Schoolcraft) Tingler.

Morgan McClellan Tingler, a son of Granville and Mahala (Schoolcraft) Tingler, was born in Ritchie County VA (WV) in 1862 and died there in 1944. He married Dena Katherine Schupp in 1887. Dena, a daughter of Mathias and Margaret (Giessler) Schupp, was born in Germany in 1866 and died in Ritchie County in

1954.

Roscoe Lawrence Tingler, a son of Morgan McClellan and Dena Katherine (Schupp) Tingler, was born in Ritchie County WV May 2, 1891 and died in Calhoun County WV May 17, 1963. He married Nettie Jane Richards September 12, 1915. Nettie, a daughter of Stephen Ford and Anna Margaret (Middleton) Richards, was born May 2, 1898 and died December 21, 1975.

born January 20, 1897 and died Septembver 2, 1981.
