John Veith, a son of Franz and Christina (Oser) Vieth, was born in

the Duchy of Baden in 1826. He came to America in 1854. He married

Margaret Patterson Jones in Braxton County VA (WV) May 18, 1862.

Margaret, a daughter of Samuel and Margaret (Malcomb) Jones, was born

in Highland County VA April 27, 1831.

Anton Vieth , a son of John and Margaret Patterson (Jones) Vieth, was born in Braxton County WV May 28, 1875 and died there September 9, 1949. He married Lillie Belle Malcolm in Braxton County WV August 2, 1900. Lillie, a daughter of George Washington and Sarah Catherine (Hefner) Malcomb, was born December 25, 1874 in Braxton County WV and died there April 16. 1921.

Anton married Weltha (Harper) Jones in Braxton County December 31, 1922.

Children of Anton and Lillie Belle (Malcomb) Vieth.

Carrie Gertrude Veith, a daughter of Samuel and Samantha Alice (Cobb) Veith, was born in Braxton county WV July 31, 1908 and died there September 3, 2006. She married Alpha SDavis Kraft in Braxton County April 12, 1928. Alpha was born in Braxton County in 1903.
