3.ISAIAH ZANE 2.SILAS ZANE JR. 1.SILAS ZANE

Isaiah "Sire" Zane, a son of Silas Jr. and Annie (Bland) Zane, was

born about 1810 and died of cholera in Keith County NE June 15, 1852. He

married Penelope Jane Means in Muskingum County OH January 1, 1833.

Penelope, a daughter of William Jacob and Elizabeth (Jackson) Means, was

born bout 1812.

The family was moving to CA when Isaiah contracted cholera and died.
